Automation company · Anaheim, CA

Industrial automation.

We automate the machines and processes Southern California plants already run: sensors that see the process, PLC controls that tie it together, robot cells and stations that do the repetitive work, and HMI screens and data that show every cycle. Designed, built and programmed by one team in Anaheim.

AUTOMATIONWhat we automate

Automation that fits the line you have.

Not a new factory. The machines, skids and processes you already depend on, made repeatable, visible and safe.

Most plants don’t need a lights-out factory. They need the step that eats an operator’s shift, the machine only one person knows how to run, or the process that drifts every Monday to run the same way every time. That is what we automate.

We work across the whole stack: sensors and instruments, PLC and HMI controls on Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and AutomationDirect platforms, drives, valves and actuators, robot cells and stations, and data capture so every cycle is on record.

Because mechanical, welding, electrical and controls are one team, the automation is designed into the machine instead of bolted on after. We build and test in our Anaheim shop, then start up and commission on your floor.

  • Machine automation and control
  • Process and skid automation
  • Robot cells and pick and place
  • Test and inspection stations
  • Sensors, instruments and data capture
  • HMI screens and alarms
  • Legacy control upgrades and migrations
  • Machine safety, guarding and interlocks
HOWFive layers

Sense. Control. Act. See. Record.

Every automation project we take on is built in the same five layers, so nothing is left as a guess.

Sense. Level, pressure, temperature, flow and position measured where it matters, so the process is no longer judged by eye.

Control. One PLC program holds the sequence, interlocks and recipes, commented and backed up, instead of the steps living in someone’s head.

Act. Valves, pumps, drives, servos and robots follow the logic the same way every cycle.

See. HMI screens show operators the whole line, with alarms that say what is wrong and what to do.

Record. Batch, cycle and alarm data are logged, so quality questions get answered with data, not memory.

UPGRADESOld controls, new life

Keep the machine. Fix the controls.

A lot of automation work is making existing equipment dependable again.

Obsolete PLCs, lost programs and undocumented panels are some of the most common reasons a line goes down for days. We recover and document existing programs, migrate legacy platforms to current hardware, and add the sensors and screens the machine never had.

When the knowledge sits with one person, our Process Lockdown service puts it into the machine and the documents, so the process no longer depends on anyone being in the building.

  • Legacy PLC and HMI migrations
  • Program recovery and documentation
  • Added sensing and alarms
  • Drive and motion upgrades
  • Safety reviews and upgrades
  • Spares and backup plans
PROCESSFrom audit to start-up

How an automation job runs.

Scoped and priced in writing before work starts.

1 · Audit. We walk the process, measure what it actually does and agree on what “automated” should mean for it.

2 · Design. Mechanical layout in SOLIDWORKS, electrical and controls design, I/O lists and the sequence of operation.

3 · Build and test. Panels, frames and stations built in our Anaheim shop and tested before anything ships.

4 · Start-up and commissioning. On your floor with your operators. Anchoring, utility connections and other building work are done by your licensed contractor; we coordinate with them.

5 · Handover. Commented code backups, drawings, manuals and training, so your team can run and maintain it.

CAPABILITIESOne shop

Every piece of the automation stack.

Each part of an automation project has its own page with the detail.

PLC, HMI and SCADA programming for Rockwell and AutomationDirect platforms, new or legacy.

Robotics and automation cells for pick and place, machine tending and laser marking.

Custom machinery, skids and test stations designed in SOLIDWORKS and built in-house.

High-pressure systems, gas panels and sampling with data acquisition.

Process diagnostics when a line is down or drifting and nobody knows why.

FAQCommon questions

Questions we get.

Short answers. For anything specific to your line, start with a process audit.

What does an industrial automation company do?

We design, build and program the systems that make a machine or process run itself: sensors, PLC controls, drives and actuators, robot cells, HMI screens and data logging, so it runs the same way every time.

Can you automate equipment we already have?

Yes. Much of our work is adding sensing, controls and screens to existing machines and skids, or replacing obsolete controls, rather than replacing the equipment.

Which PLC and HMI platforms do you work with?

Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) Studio 5000, RSLogix, ControlLogix, CompactLogix, MicroLogix and SLC 500, FactoryTalk View and PanelView, plus AutomationDirect Productivity, Do-more, CLICK and C-more.

Do you install the equipment?

We build and test in our Anaheim shop, then deliver, start up and commission the equipment we build. Anchoring, utility connections and other building work are done by your licensed contractor, and we coordinate with them.

How does an automation project start?

With a process audit. We look at how the process runs today and what it should do, then scope and price the work in writing before anything starts.

Where do you work?

We are based in Anaheim, CA and work with plants across Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Ventura and San Luis Obispo counties.
